Diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards (DipIFR) training course

Dear LACPA members and trainees

In accordance with the Protocols of Cooperation between the Lebanese Association of Certified Public Accountants (LACPA) and the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) and the Institute of Management Accountant (IMA).

The LACPA is glad to announce the launching of the second session of the professional courses:

• Diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards (DipIFR) training course (84 Hours) starting Tuesday 10 February, 2015: This course is designed to develop the knowledge and understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards. The participant will learn how to apply them, as well as understand the concepts and principles which underpin them. At the end of the course, students will take the DipIFR exam and will have an international DipIFR professional significance.
• Managerial Accounting and Reporting training course (48 Hours) starting Wednesday 11 February, 2015: this course provides a wide knowledge of managerial accounting concepts and an understanding of the functional areas of accounting, finance, and management. Moreover, it demonstrates the ability to apply knowledge of business concepts and functions in an integrated manner.
• Audit and Assurance training course (42 Hours) starting Monday 16 February, 2015: This Course offers an introduction to the clarified International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) and is designed to develop knowledge, understanding, and practical application of core external audit processes. It will introduce the principles of international auditing standards and will enable participants to enhance their competence as auditors and their ability to apply knowledge of international audit standards in practice.
